"From the basement of his parent’s home to multiple locations across Central Wisconsin,
Zach Vruwink, owner and Founder of ZAXX Technology Specialists has experienced remarkable success and rapid growth that stems from the company's commitment to honest, effective customer service.
While our first clients back in 2002 were friends and family, word quickly spread that ZAXX was the place to go for top quality computers and technology at affordable prices…with service that makes every customer a repeat customer.
In 2003 Zach Vruwink opened the first retail location in downtown Wisconsin Rapids, appropriately naming it Zach’s Computers. After several successful years of growth, Zach recognized that this small business had much greater potential. In 2009, with the help of The Goodness Company, Zach changed his company name from Zach’s Computers to ZAXX Technology Specialists to reflect the company’s diverse technology sales and service offerings. A new logo soon followed, with an image that solidified ZAXX as the regional leader in residential and business technology sales and service.
In 2010, Zach expanded his retail locations from a single store in Wisconsin Rapids, to multiple locations in Plover, Wrightstown and Iola to better serve the Central Wisconsin market. ZAXX now offers PC’s & MAC’s, a wide selection of mobile phones, accessories, mobile telephone plans, cable television services and all of the latest cutting edge technology, along with unmatched technical service at each store location.
From our humble beginnings in a basement in 2002 to our first store opening in 2003 to multiple locations throughout Central Wisconsin today, thanks to our incredible customers, ZAXX has a proud history and an even brighter future!
